In the mountains of central Idaho is a valley that was once summer cow pastures, with rivers that ran like veins, and bluebirds that would sing good morning to anyone who cared to listen.
This was the place where Landon Vance grew up running wild through the thick timber and would later learn that places like this would fuel his love for music, a skill he worked on throughout his childhood. In 2025, with the help of many local artists and friends, Landon released his debut EP "Western Skies".
Now, with his brother Dylan Vance (mandolin & vocals), and their buddy Cody Bloodsworth (bass, dobro & vocals), they plan to release singles every other month.
"Fightin' Cold" is the first of 2026 to be released, a song written about comfort in the cold, which was written during the winter of 2025. Sadly, the winter of 2026 did not hold up the way Landon would've wanted to for the release of "Fightin' Cold", but they are thankful for the moisture regardless.
